On the turntable Meg spins wicked dreams about being a DJ, but she’s too scared to take her act out of the basement. Great Granny is so old, all she does is rock out to scratchy recordings of long-forgotten suffragette rally songs and think about the past. Then their worlds collide in a mix that backspins them right into ‘herstory’ circa 1910. Get hijacked along with Meg, for a lesson in true determination from inside the ranks of women who created the largest social transformation in modern history.

Past president of Women In Film and accomplished screenwriter Terri Tatchell makes her theatrical debut to scratch out this funny and passionate multi media one-act play for young audiences, which she’s adapted from an un-produced work by shameless hussy. Award winning director and veteran hussy Renée Iaci leads the rally which features feisty performances by recent grads Ryan Beil [Theatre at UBC] and Lissa Neptuno [Langara’s Studio 58], both on their first date with shameless hussy. Joined by Diana Swayze and hussy co-artistic director Daune Campbell, this ensemble of rebellious actors will petition its way into your hearts. The shamelessly creative team are: Ozan Biron [Video Design], Tim Matheson [Slides], Karyn McCallum [Set], Erin Harris [Lighting], Stephen Bulat [Video and Production Sound Design], shameless hussy co-founder Lana Krause [Costumes], Kat Brooking [Stage Manager] and Ion Design [Poster].
